We are delighted to be able to announce the shortlisted nominees for the inaugural Clare Lewis-Jones award for excellence in patient care. Each and every nomination was carefully considered by our panel of current and past fertility patients. They looked at which of the candidates they felt best matched the criteria for the award, and drew up a shortlist of four nominees. It was a difficult decision as so many nominees were clearly going above and beyond for their patients.
The final shortlist of four are:
Benjamin Jones from the Lister Fertility Clinic. His patients described his unwavering support and one said ““He transformed what had felt like an impossibly stressful journey into one filled with compassion, clear direction, and true patient-centred care”
Charlotte Moodey from Care Fertility London. People praised her attitude – they said “She goes above and beyond for her patients… She is always happy to see you and there to support you.”
Lisa Morgan from Bristol Fertility Clinic. It was clear how much difference she made to her patients – one said “Lisa ensures that every patient feels supported in every possible way”, another described her as “a gem of a nurse”.
Nicki Robinson from TFP Simply Fertility. Her thoughtfulness and innovation was praised – she was described as “a great example of someone who always puts patient wellbeing and experience first”
Congratulations to all the nominees! The winner will be announced at the Fertility 26 conference in Edinburgh in January.
