Kelly Da Silva joins The Fertility Alliance team!

Welcome to the latest member of the Fertility Alliance team – we are thrilled to announce that Kelly Da Silva is joining us as our new Head of Patient Support!

Kelly Da Silva is the founder of The IVF Gap and The Dovecote. Drawing on her own ten-year personal experience of infertility, Kelly has spent the last decade working in the fertility sector, supporting others through treatment and in the often-overlooked space beyond.

She is currently a PhD researcher at the Centre for Reproduction Research at De Montfort University, where her work explores the lived experience of unsuccessful fertility treatment.

Kelly recently worked as a Patient Experience and Co-Production Facilitator, using her professional insight and lived experience to shape more compassionate and responsive support pathways.

Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, validation, and psychological safety for those navigating fertility challenges.

Over the past ten years, she has worked for a leading UK fertility provider to design and deliver emotional support services -helping to develop emotional support services that were formally recognised by the HFEA for their contribution to improving patient care.

Kelly is a trained practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Mindfulness practitioner, weaving these approaches into her work to gently support people at any stage of their journey – including life after fertility treatment.

We are overjoyed to have Kelly joining The Fertility Alliance team. She is already running a fantastic monthly group for people navigating the end of treatment for us – and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve working together!
